My Story

Gemma's Life Story
Gemma started off as a kitten, Our family was given her because someone wasnt able to have her around while they had a baby. At this time of her life I wasnt born yet, I was born 2 years after my family was given Gemma. I grew up with her and throughout her life we created a storong bonding. Our family addored her. She would sit up on your lap and watch TV, she would play with bits of string, sleep on the end of your bed and think that she was a gard cat garding you from robbers,sit by the front door waiting for you to come home when you went out and most of all she would sit there for hours while you patted her and rubbed her chin. She was the best pet we have ever had by far. Getting older in her 13th and 14 and a half years she would mostly sit on your lap getting pats, eat and sleep lots and lots. One day in the morning we tried to feed her but she wasnt hungry she just lay there on her little blanket. I went with my mum to a doctors appointment we came home about 1 1/2 hours later to find out that she had died in her sleep. There was nothing wrong with her for sure but she had died peacfully in her sleep. We were all heart broken. :'(
