Margalo. 1/12/04 - 10/3/09
My family and I were ready to have a pet since my son was 2 1/2 yrs old and my husband and I both grew up with pets, so we thought the time was right for us to get one.
So we chose to get a bird....a cockatiel! We bought her from a breeder so she was hand raised, and we fell in love with her when we saw her. She was adorable, all white with cinnamon coloured markings on her wings and tail.
My son had been watching Stuart Little 2 on dvd and he loved the name of the canary in the movie....Margalo.....so that's what he named her. Quite original I thought!
Anyway over the years we had her she gave us so much love, she was very funny, a real character!
Margalo and I formed a special bond together....she was very fond of me and likewise of her!
When I was in the kitchen she'd follow me, when I vaccuumed she'd sit on my shoulder....she was with me everywhere!
That's why she will be truly missed......I loved her and her companionship so much......her whistle was beautiful.....she also knew how to sing the Mexican Hat Dance & Pop Goes the Wheezle.....and I'll miss her cuddles and kisses.....
