A friend so true and dear
Weary upon our first meet,
it was her daughter -coffee, that was more keen.
From the sidelines, like a mum
A good one indeed
Guided her young to new adventures and treats.
New to everything,
She was my guide...
Above all the independence, she still needed us.
Selecting her meals-i taught her that- from gourmet selections to ham and chicken
A bit picky i'd say but nonetheless adorable.
Like a diva she was,
her baths had rubber duckies and spectators too
Warm water only and Caution! "not too hot..."
Scrubbing her back, rinsing her paws
Relaxed as her masseuse rub those temples.
The sky doesnt shine bright as one star falls today.
Reunited with her family...
Embraced in the sanctity of heaven her gentle soul lays.
It was just yesterday the house was filled with her snores...
And today, a cold bed in place of where she laid.
