I wanted to thank you Shealby for welcoming Tobby Sonda so warmly on his first day at your nanna's house. Even though he was annoying you showed great tolerance and understanding, which didn't surprise me because you have such a friendly and loving nature. Miss you, Aunty Tracie and family xxxx
We will all miss you Shealby, I'm so glad you spent Christmas 2008 at our house. It was such a pleasure to have you here and I have some beautiful photos and memories of you to keep forever.
And yes, I can remember Shealby's former name! I also know how she got home from the BP!
I have so many memories of Shealby.......jumping in her water bowl to cool down, balancing herself in the car when driving around corners, pulling sheets off the line when she was very young, loving us all even when we were tired/busy and not giving her enough attention, dancing in her pink shoes (favourite memory), snoring, twitching in her sleep (happy dreams), getting excited when she barked...
I walked Shealby for the past few months on a regular basis. She was a real joy and i became very fond of her, what a wonderfully loving dog! I remember Natalie and I giving her a bath one day and then taking her for a walk in the sunshine so she could dry, she looked and smelt lovely and clean. To our surprise Shealby decided to go for a swim in a rather muddy pond along the way. She came out ...
Who can remember Shealby's previous name?
I remember the first time we took Shealby for a walk.... When she was very unfit, overweight and hadn't been looked after by her previous owners. We walked her down to Valentine BP. The way down was fine.... but then Shealby sat her bottom down and refused to move. I can't remember how we got her home- anyone?
I remember when we first got Shealby. Nat had been begging Mum & Mark for a dog... One day Mark, who was a Sheriff, came home from work with a friend. He had been attending to a house repossession and there was a dog at the house that was tied up, dirty and generally didn't look well looked after. Hmmm... one dog looking for a caring owner... and one girl looking for a dog....!
I was on the p...
Will miss you Shelby... and your slobber.... :)
