My Story

Mum and i first met Buddy when we were on our way home from the bus run and stopped in at Leibicks.
he was a very cute ball of fluff!
We said we would take him and so later on mum went down and brought him home in a box and told dad to come inside and there he was.
He was a proud father to many of Francies Puppies
Buds had been through a lot in life, he began having fits which weren't very nice and when we moved to Albury we had to leave him in Grenfell at Mark and Sues. About 6months later we brought him down here with France and he met Angel.
He then became a Dad to lots of Angels puppies, one in particular Runty, who he loved and gave lots of attention to such as licking her face to make sure she was pretty.
Around the Age of 9 he started coughing and the Vet pulled a few of his teeth out but that didnt solve the problem so he was diagnosed with a heart murmur, which meant his heart was enlarged and had a build up of fluid in his lungs.
Dad would carry him around like a baby to try and help him, he would be often helping dad weed and water the garden.
Buds loved his 'walkies' and his car trips, he had been everywhere man!
Dean st at different times of the morning and all around Albury helping Lucas pick up cans.
he was very spoilt and he knew if he barked and scratched at the back door that we would give in and let him in.
He loved to talk and run around when he got excited but he would hide under beds if anyone was vacuuming. He didnt like being teased and he bit Lucas on the nose because he had had enough of his nonsense.
we started to call him lucky dog one day because Dad and i were out walking him without a lead because we thought he would stay with us but he proved us wrong and went across the road, a car was coming and thats when he decided to come back across to us, he yelped and it looked like he went under the wheel, we thought we were going to lose you but when he pulled through we realised Buds must of can into the outside of the tyre and got knocked out. we could of lost Buds then but he fought on to spend 5 more years with us.
he loved his women and would bark until his throat was sore just to let us know that he wanted to be in the yard with them.
Climbing the tree was one of his past times.
The very sad morning came on the 20th August 2009 when mum was letting the dogs out of the garage and Buds didnt come out, she found him lying on the floor unable to move but still alive, we got him to the vet as fast as we could be he had passed away, we think he was waiting for us to find him and say goodbye

None of the people that met you will ever forget you Buds, you were truly one of a kind, i miss you everyday and just wish you could come back for one last walk, car ride or just a hug. I love you Budsy Boy, xox
