My Story

Eek was given to me by my brother who found her in his friends yard. She was a kitten, so little she could rest in the palm of my hand. She was cold, lonely and wild. The first night she came to me I let her sleep in the bed next to me. She curled up in my arms and just stared at me. One eye was open and one eye was shut. It was like she was so tired and wanted to sleep, but couldn't bear to close her eyes and stop looking at me. From that moment on she was my best friend. We moved house several times and she always came with me. I got a dog and she was scared at first, but they became friends too. When I met my boyfriend she was terrified of him and his 2 dogs. When we all moved in together they all became friends too. Between them there was 3 dogs and my other cat Moby. They were an amazing little pack. Eek also grew to love my Boyfriend and he is almost as sad as I am. I will miss her amazingly soft fur, her warm cuddles, her soothing pur and her zest and love of the outdoors. She loved living here with us in the bush with the trees, rabbits to catch and sun to lie in. The night I found her was the saddest night of my life. I will miss her so much. My heart aches and I feel like I will never get over this pain. SO I will try to remember her being happy and making my life better. Rest in peace my baby Eek. I will always love you.
