My Story

We knew the day we got him he would be handful. Pushing his sisters and brother away from the carrott that was given at the viewing. Mum decided he was the one for us. The drive home was filled with an overflowing bladder on mums poor dress. With in the week he had made his displeasure in using a kennel since the cat muffin had full rein inside. So in he come a dog door installed and his new mum muffin the cat (a boy by the way) was looking after him. Washing and feeding him when he felt he needed it. Then began the battle of the fridge. The cat could open cupboards and somehow mickey had learnt how to open the fridge. Stealing anything he could get from cheese to margerine. My father was taken to hospital one night mickey was about 18months old we come home to strawberry topping all through the house at three in the morning and a dog looking at me with the expression of i didn't do it. How could you get upset. When he lost his best mate muffin he was depressed so out come everyone cuddling and playing with him. Soon he was backed to himself. Two years ago he lost my mother his mum who spoilt him rotten. He would look for her every where for nearly three months until he discovered me the next soft touch. Deciding that breakfast was to be held at half past 12 at night . No amount of persuading him would detour his nightly awaking of me and ensuring i got no sleep until he was feed. I will miss you my friend you had been through alot with both cruciate ligments needing to be repaired. Nearly every six months you needed to be operated on. But everyone loved you as you where a beutiful natured dog who would rather be petted and cuddled than upsetting anyone. Its been two nights and i miss waking up to feed you as i think i will do this for a long time. You are at peace and i imagine you with mum telling her what me and dad have been up to without her.
